Where can I get my IBAN?
The IBAN number can be found on your club's online banking or on a bank account statement. If you are still unsure how to find your club's IBAN number, please see the link below which calculates your IBAN based on your sort code and bank account number: https://www.ibancalculator.com/ or by contacting your clubs bank.
What is an IBAN?
An IBAN is an international banking account number and is used to make or receive international payments. An IBAN number cannot exceed 34 characters.
Why do I need to provide identification?
When signing up for a Stripe account, identification is needed to verify the account i.e identification is needed to verify the identity of the person who is setting up the account.
Do the details entered in the form need to match the details on my identification?
The details entered do not need to match the details on the identification however it is preferred if the details match to make the verification process more efficient.
Why are both the primary contact and club treasurer details required?
The club treasurer details are used as a secondary form of contact for the Stripe account.
How will I know my account has been verified?
Club administrators will be able to see the progress of their account via the Fees section within the GAA management system.
Where can I see the transactions that have been paid via the app and are pending a transfer into the club's bank account?
If a player has made a payment to the club via the app, their status within the membership subscription tab will be marked as 'Processing', once the payment has been complete, the status of the player will change to 'Registered'.
Can I update the bank account details at any time?
Club administrators will be able to update their bank account details via the Payment Provider tab within the Fees section.
What happens to pending payments if I delete my account from the payment provider section?
Deleting your account will not prevent scheduled payouts from happening. For example, if you closed your account today, a payment you accepted yesterday would pay out to your bank account as normal. However you will not be able to retrieve any information about your account going forward. You will also still be responsible for any refunds that are issued, or disputes that arise.
Will pending payments be received into a new account if I update the details via the payment provider section?
If payments have already been sent to the original bank account, they will land in the original bank account. Newer pending payments will be sent to the new bank account.
