What is the Annual Club Update?
Club administrators are now required to complete a six step process known as the annual club update when they log in to the GAA Management System (people.gaa.ie).
The information collected in these steps will be used to ensure maximum efficiency within the GAA Management System as well as enabling new functionality such as payments and club communications via the mobile app.
This process has been broken down into six simple steps across three broad categories. When these steps have been completed, the club administrator will be able to proceed to the system as normal.
Why can I only see the Welcome Section and Contact Us Section on the left hand side of the screen?
Please be advised that once the Annual Club Update has been completed, you will regain full access to the GAA Management System to register members, send SMS messages and register teams for Player Injury Fund.
Why have I not been prompted to fill out the annual club update?
If you have logged into the management system after the 13th of December and have not been prompted to fill out the annual club update this may be a result of another club admin completing the annual club process already.
The annual update only needs to be completed by one club admin and therefore if you have not been prompted it is more than likely that another admin has completed the steps for annual club update for your club.
How do I check if the annual club update has already been completed by another club admin?
There are a number of ways to check to see if the annual club update has been completed already. We would advise you to check the following sections in the management system to see if the details have been updated:
- The Members section (committee tab) - Check to see if the committee has been updated with the relevant individuals for the 2018 season.
- The Members section (teams tab & groups tab) - Check to see if the teams and communication groups have been updated for the 2018 season.
- The Club admin section - Check to see if the club details have been updated and if a club crest has been uploaded. Please note that if a club crest has not been uploaded, there should be a placeholder present within the form.
- The Fees Section - Check to see if the payment provider form has been filled out to allow for payments via the GAA app.
