If you have received a 403 response from your call to the server, this can indicate one of the following:
- The IP address is not registered on the secure whitelist.
- The parameters included in the calls to the server are not associated with the IP address, which is registered on the secure whitelist.
- The IP address has not been whitelisted for the API that you are attempting to call. For example, if the IP is calling the fixture and results API and the IP address is only whitelisted for the competitions API, then this needs to be updated on the fixture and result API request form.
- If your club, county or provincial website is hosted on a shared server, then the IP address that the calls are being made from may not be the IP which is registered on the secure whitelist.
If you have a control panel for your server setup, you should be able to see what IP address is being used for outgoing requests. If not, please contact your hosting provider.
Once you are certain that the you have the correct IP address, please update the F&R API request form or contact the support team and they will update the secure whitelist on your behalf.
